This is the first of a few BRFC Organisation Announcements as we prepare and plan for next season, our 125th. We have re-structured the Director of Rugby organisation and I’m delighted to announce the following appointment:

Director of Rugby, John Jackson
JJ is one of our own, having represented the Blue and Gold as a Youth and 1st XV player before moving on to represent and captain our successful Vets side. JJ has handed over his Vets captaincy duties to Gareth Seward in order to take the reins of our senior rugby operations. JJ will sit on the Management Committee and oversee the following areas:

Senior Men’s Rugby: with Steve Benham continuing as Director of Men’s Rugby,
Senior Women’s Rugby: with Lorri Hooton continuing as Director of Women’s Rugby
Academy: with Phil Davis continuing as Academy Director,
Coaching Coordinator: I am delighted to announce Ray Tierney has agreed to take this role on.

Membership
In light of his new role, and in order to facilitate this change, Ray has handed over his Senior Membership duties to Sharon McHallum. Sharon is now the sole membership lead at Beckenham RFC and can be found at the club most Sunday's with the U13 squad.

Please join me in congratulating JJ, Ray and Gareth in their new roles, Sharon in her expanded role and Steve, Lorri and Phil for continuing to support rugby operations at Beckenham RFC.
