We would like to announce this seasons 1st XV Squad sponsors: The Elm Tree Pub, ASH (All Sports Hospitality) and Sapore Vero.

After a great partnership last season, The Elm Tree pub were really pleased to work with us again, along with additional new sponsors. We are very grateful for all their input during the close season to design and provide the 1st XV with a new Canterbury home and change kit. We look forward to working with all our sponsors this coming season and their support really means a lot to all of us at Beckenham RFC.

For the 2016/17 season BRFC is also pleased to announce two new charitable partnerships, with CASPA Bromley and o2e.

  • CASPA are passionate about providing inspirational activities and opportunities for children and young people with high functioning autism to develop their social, communication and independent living skills, gain confidence and increase their chances of full integration into society. Using sport, drama, visual arts, cooking, music and a whole range of other activities to bring the children and young people together, break down barriers, build confidence, increase their communication skills and enable them to relax and have fun while,
  • o2e aim to make a difference to the lives of seriously and terminally ill children, by encouraging and supporting all ages to embrace sport and adventure by getting out of your comfort zones and living life to the full.

Led by prop forward, coach and CASPA employee James Cleverly, the 1st XV squad supported CASPA’s work last season holding a charity day and running a coaching session for the children they work with.

Following the passing of our ex-chairman, friend and avid supporter Paul Skelly earlier this year, the 1st XV wanted to support the charity that was so very close to his heart. Our support for the charity will be constant throughout the season, and the 1st XV will proudly wear the o2e charity logo, part of Skelly’s legacy, on their shirts at every game.

Please support our sponsors and chosen charities wherever you can.

We look forward to the coming season and hope to see you all soon at Balmoral Avenue.
