Pre-season at Beckenham RFC starts on Tuesday 5th July at 7:30pm prompt (players meeting in the clubhouse at 7pm first) and will take place every Tuesday & Thursday until Thursday 1st September. This is open to all senior players and U18 Academy.

We have worked hard over the summer to ensure we have a coaching team which will help all sides fulfil their potential this season. In addition to retaining Conrad Bool (Head Coach, Ex Harlequins and Rosslyn Park), James Cleverly (Player Forwards Coach, Saracens and England Counties) & Alan Davies ( Player Development & Conditioning, ex Wellington RFU NZ), we are also delighted to welcome new coaches, former skipper Alex Jones (Player/Defence Coach. Ex Westcombe Park, and Kent) and Dan Brown ( Backs/Skills Coach. Ex Bath Academy and Surrey). Alex returned last season, having coached at Bromley RFC and is currently Head of Rugby at Ravenswood School. Dan was Head Coach at Old Priorians last season (London 1 North) and 1stXV coach at St.Benedicts Ealing.

Our Pre-season Programme will focus on fitness, skills and game awareness through conditioning & simulated game play to develop individual tactical & strategic decision making. It will culminate in pre-season fixtures v. Tunbridge Wells (13th August) and Maidstone (27th August).

As an ambitious Community Club, we welcome new players of all standards to help our 5 Senior mens sides and 2 senior Ladies achieve their potential.
