Hi All,
Kent U14 2018-19 – Round 1 Folkestone Rugby Club Sunday 18th November 2018
On behalf of myself and everyone at Folkestone Rugby Club we look forward to welcoming you, your supporters and of course your players to our club for an enjoyable day of Under 14 rugby on 18th November 2018.
The following is some information for you prior to attending. Also attached are the festival rules, a squad registration form, the current schedule and directions to the club:
Club address: New Burlington Field, Bargrove, Newington, Folkstone, Kent CT18 8BH
Parking: We will be using the car park on the opposite side of the road to the clubhouse. There will be parking attendants in tabards to direct you. If any disabled parking is required simply ask the attendants.
Entry fee: As set by Kent there will be an entrance fee of £4 per adult or £10 per car where there are more than two adults. Correct change would of course be appreciated!
Tournament Control: This will be in the club-room, upstairs in the clubhouse. There will be pitch marshals in tabards available at the pitch also who will deal with reporting scores to control, ensuring the tournament schedule is kept to and dealing with any issues/requests. They will be in radio contact with Tournament Control should there be any questions or requirements.
Registration: The clubhouse will be open from 0800 hrs. Clubs are asked to register at Tournament Control by the following times based on when their first games kick off: 0900: Beckenham, Old Alleynians, Maidstone, Blackheath 0945: Old Colfeians, Folkestone
Referees: The event simply cannot take place without referees. As per the schedule provided by Kent, referees are to be supplied by each club for the games shown.
First Aid / Hospitals: Each team is expected to have at least one first aid trained person and relevant equipment with them. There will be dedicated first aid resources present on the day who will be easily identifiable. There is access to ice, a stretcher and defib in the clubhouse. All can be requested via pitch marshals.
Dogs: Can please inform your spectators that unfortunately dogs are not allowed on site, with the exception of assistance dogs.
Refreshments: The club bar and kitchen will be open as normal. There are no BBQs allowed on site.
