So it’s half term and we know a few of you will be away for the holiday. Have a great time and see you when you’re back.

For everyone else it’s training as usual at home but please remember that the Beckenham Half Marathon starts and finishes at the club on Sunday. There are around 500+ runners setting off at 9:30 so please note that parking will be difficult so if you can car share, bring your bicycles or walk that would be brilliant. The forecast says it might be mild and dry. My bones also say I might have won the lottery. Believe what you will!

We will look to carry on emphasising the defensive line so the players try and remember to stay in it rather than run out of position.

One of the parents asked if messages were going to be sent via Pitchero and the short answer is yes. Selection, fixtures and what’s on will be posted here and on the team webpage on the club site. So if you haven’t already done so please look up Pitchero Club on your phones and download.

Hopefully Charlie is starting to feel better and it won't be too long before his arm is fully healed and we see him back in training.

Finally don’t forget to bring a friend on Sunday, bring back the Player of the Week (PotW) medal or tell me you’ve read this.

Best wishes everyone.
