If you are going to the fireworks and can spare some time to help, then why not join as a volunteer marshal for the 2019 event at Croydon Recreation Ground in Beckenham. The 5th Beckenham Scouts need volunteers to help them cover the period from 4pm to 10pm.

A few of the mini parents (who weren't members of the scout troop) got involved last year and had a really good time, as well as getting to watch the fireworks for free! So we are looking to give back to the community by getting more members out to help.

The event is organised by local volunteers and over recent years the money the Fireworks has raised has been distributed back to charities within this area. There will be 2 firework displays, a fun fair and lots of food stalls.

The display benefits charities which support people of all age groups and abilities and last year we were able to support a range of worthy projects. A big thank you in advance to each of you who join us, as we would not be able to run this event without our volunteer marshals.
