Great to see so many of you there this weekend in the cold conditions,

Hi everyone,
Great to see so many of you there this weekend in the cold conditions, I think most of us kept warm but a few did struggle to keep warm. The guys trained well, with them getting to do a kicking drill at long last, but remember to let them know they have to catch as well!! Then we all moved on to drill section of the day, they all seem to enjoy the scissor passing drill, but when it came to the grunt work on the tackle bag, not so good! but hey, there are times you just have to “do it”. It was also, so great to see an old player in the shape of Finley Tookey return for a session in between his Football commitments, all the guys looked pleased to see him back for a session just showing how well these guys all get on.
Ethan had a well deserved “Man of the Match” award for the amount of hard work he put in and some great tackles to boot! Freddie J on the trophy hunt again with the award for “Best tackler” which was well deserved for the amount he put in and the strength he used. Archie on the award list again! (what are they feeding him in the Shipley household???) for the fantastic pop pass he made to Ollie. Reice also on the trophy hunt again managed to earn himself a medal for the determination he showed during the game section of the training, if I’d had another award to give out it would have gone to Ben, for being warm on the coldest training day of the year so far HURRAY!! Things just keep getting better,J
