Despite the disappointing news that the season will be two weeks later starting due to the drought and pitch conditions across the south east, the men's first team squad are still full steam ahead in training. This weekend that training will be put to the test as we set off for a first pre-season game v Midsomer Norton RFC (near Bath) where ex- forwards coach and Beckenham boy Lovejoy Chawatama is now a coach. LJ who now plays for Bristol Bears extended an invite for us to travel to play and for a social, so players and staff will make the journey down on Saturday morning to Somerset .

Then next weekend, we have a 1st XV FNL v London Irish - 19.30 KO (H)
Back at our house at Balmoral!
Bar will be open (timings TBC)

Saturday 29th Aug
As if FNL wasn't enough, the 2nd XV travel to Streatham and Croydon RFC to play a triangular fixture also featuring Southward RFC.
