It was cold It was muddy, but it looked like they had fun!! (most of them). Apart from a few cold sets of fingers everyone got muddy, more some than others. We started with the drills working on passing with the switch type and with the kicking catch and chase down drill they worked hard on all the sections and then into a game we all love, jail break!!! After that into a match, with the pitch more mud than grass any quick feet wasn’t going to work so it was get down and dirty, and they got that spot on. With conditions the way they were the guys worked well. The tackle of the morning which stood out to me was when Charlie was popped the ball and with no where to go up came Lorcan the look on Charlie’s face said it all. On to “Man Of The Match” well done to James A for getting up after being knock down so many times I lost count, and Freddy S for his spirit and hard work all morning long well done, and then on to Freddy B, well some said it was for the muddiest award but to me it was for the hard work he put in and the improvement he showed through out the session “FAB”
