The Rugby Ready Course will be held at the Beckenham Club House next week - on Tuesday 30th at 6.30. We appreciate that this is half term, but this is a great opportunity to get an RFU training course under your belt, without the inconvenience of having to travel.

So far myself (Jude's dad), Roger (Connor's dad) and Julian (Jacob's dad) are pencilled in, but we'd be delighted to welcome more. Ultimately, all the children will benefit from better training sessions and you'll get to find a little more of that magic that we saw on the pitch last Sunday !! I counted twenty keen mums and dads on the pitch that morning - is would be great keep up that momentum.
If helping with coaching, you don't have to undertake to attend every Sunday - between David, Roger and myself the coaching session will always by led appropriately, but it would be great for the children to have extra help when in the smaller groups during exercises and drills.

• Because Beckenham RFC is dedicated to supporting all parents, the club will pay all costs of the course
• You don't have to have played rugby or have any prior experience to benefit from the course
• Please wear training kit as the course is interactive
• The course will start at 6.30 and should wrap up by 9
• I will buy all the U6/U7's parents a well deserved pint or large glass of chardonay afterwards !

As I haven't yet done this course, I can only quote Mark Stevens who is the Beckenham RFC Club Coaching and Volunteer Coordinator - "I did the course while still coaching TAG and found it to be of great use as it does give a good foundation for moving forward within the game."
