The Beckenham RFC Christmas Draw is now live, and we are asking every member to support the club by purchasing tickets. Buying a ticket this week is one of the simplest and most important ways to contribute.

Why Your Support Matters

Even with strong income from memberships, bar sales, nursery rent and event hires, the club continues to face significant annual running costs. These include:

Insurance – £3,333
Waste Collection – £6,325
Heating and Lighting – £20,504
Clubhouse Maintenance – £14,739
Ground Maintenance – £17,958

These figures are taken from the club’s 2024/25 financial year accounts.

The club also urgently needs to invest in pitch improvements, replace broken fridges, and upgrade the pathway beside the car park to improve safety. In addition, to keep us RugbySafe we need additional funding for First Aid training (costing £660 per 12-person course), essential First Aid and physio supplies including defibrillator upkeep, and physio cover for senior rugby.

Fundraising plays a crucial role in covering these costs, and the Christmas Draw remains one of the most effective and accessible ways members can contribute.
