Away day

Another great day to coach and watch the boys playing rugby, they all worked very hard today on a sunny morning at Old Whits, working together with the coaches from Old Whits today produced a very fruitful day in there training and personal development, with some fantastic performances across the squad, with all their willingness to listen and then their effort to put it into practise, was great to see. With the group of boys I was working with I can say watching James Liam and Ewen working together in their forward pack was great to see, with Oliver and Lorcan working well together from line outs and scrums with their passing was fantastic to see. Talking to Jody this action was happing in the other group as well with Charlie Stocks this weeks winner of “man of the match” who got back up and continued to play like a true pro after his bloody noise, “he did what he’d listened to” was the words of his coach “not just because he’d got a bloody noise” Well done Charlie another 1st time winner for this season.

I’d like to say a quick thanks to all of you for making the effort to get there, after the short notice change of venue.

To all the boys who were unwell this week a speedy recovery to you all, to all the rest of you, away at parties and camps etc look forward to seeing you all on Thursday night or Sunday morning.

Sunday 27th November, HOME training starts at 10.00am. It was listed as an away match but now been changed to home instead, don’t forget warm clothing and water and “gum shields.”

On a personal note, Is there anyone else who is thinking about going on the end of season tour to the Isle of Wight or who would like more detail, please let me know asap, I would like to take two teams and we are currently five boys short, it would be such a shame to have to bring in a first come selection, as I truly believe everyone would love it and we’ve managed to adjust the costing thanks to Suzy’s fine efforts. Please think again!! And come and join in the fun for a weekend.
