Xmas Training

Hi Everyone,

Oh boy was it cold, what with the strange under 10s coaches dressed as super hero’s and our parents getting muddy the morning was full of much to talk about. The two moments that stood out for me was Suzy Tookey being tackled by a mob of boys and you went down so gracefully! And Freddie Samuels dad at the base of a pile of boys. I’m so glad you all came along and joined in such a spirited way, thanks to all of you.

Once the boys warmed up and got going they all worked “Very” hard. The tackling drills and the passing & mauling drills went well with a few of the boys complaining about being cold, so we tried very hard to keep everyone moving, so some gloves from Santa could be an extra present! ( like they need any more )

With some hard work put in by Liam, Sam and a very sneaky try by Finley (on the blind side) the choice for “Man of the Match” went to Jago for the extra effort he put into listening and then putting it into practise was noticed by all the coaches, well done Jago.

Onto our next game, 8th January, Medway for the New Years Cup, we have currently one team entered so we need to know who can make it asap. If we get enough I will try and enter another team into the day so please let us know!!!!

On that note please take lots of warm clothing along with you as we know there will be quite a lot of standing around between games. As soon as I get more details about the event I’ll pass them on.

Please make sure you bring GUM SHIELDS and water bottles with you. (yes back in caps, too many boys had them missing on Sunday)
