Despite having players out of position, Beckenham put in a gutsy performance. The forwards were particularly impressive, dominating the large Ashford pack at the breakdown. The backs dug deep in defence, putting the Ashford line under pressure and forcing mistakes. Charlotte Poole made a welcome return to the backs line, with crunching tackles and smart attacking play.

Overall the performance was a great improvement from the ladies last game, and the Beckenham ladies still retain their spot at the top of the league table.
