WKD can field a team of county standard players following success at trials

West Kent Divas had 7 player at the Kent U15 girls trials. The competition for places this year was high nearly 40 girls vying for the 26 squad places.

Following a tough set of training drills and there was a short game with limited opportunity to impress.

Congratulations go to Ceri, Cerys, and Alice, who were selected. We are hopeful those three will be joined by Morgan, who missed the initial trail through illness.

Congratulations must also go to 10 other girls from the WKD, who made the Surrey U15 girls Squad.

On a good day, that means the WKD, could put out a team full of county standard player, which is a fantastic achievement.

It will also make the kent v surry fixture very interesting.
