WKD gain bonus point win to start league with impressive win

On a wet and rainy day, 14 girls form the West Kent Divas, visited ST Neots for the first league game of the season. The game commenced at 10 aside, as requested by St Neots.
Despite the heavy rain WKD looked to mover the ball, and soon ran in 2 tries, by Anna Piper and Sophie Hodges. Due to the poor weather, it was agreed to bring on the 4 WKD substitutes, 2 for St Neots, and 2 for WKD. The game proved to be competitive, but tries were only being scored by WKD, who eventually ran out winner 45 to 5.
In a difficult day due to the weather special credit, must be paid to Francesca who performed well at hooker and Cerys who showed a lead to the forwards.
After the match, Freddie Pearson upheld the WKD honour, winning the coke and mars bar challenge. Despite the opponent have inserted all her mars bar in her mouth before Freddie had finished her coke, the measured approach by Freddie won the race by at least 1 second.
