On a changeable day with the weather one constant prevailed. Slick handling, devastating pace, direct running and team work, saw West Kent Divas win all three matches and conceded ZERO points.

On a day when West Kent Divas fielded player at U13, U15 and U18 girls the U15 girls demonstrated there potential, while the U13 showed there is talent pushing for places.

At U.13's the girls combined with 2 new girls from Old Allayinas and several form Cranbrook. Despite several girls being new to the game, they gelled quickly and were competitive. It was good to see Olivia, Luana Ellie and Sammy, running hard and linking passes together as well tackling hard.

At U15 All the girls played with commitment, passion and as a team. Your skill set and fitness was not to be bettered, culminating in decisive wins as well as keeping a clean sheet throughout the day, very impressive.

Cerys, Francesca, Hannah, Ella, Fiona and Morgan provided a solid platform at the scrums and lineout, very quick to the breakdown and competitive at all times.

Erin, Ceri, Alice, Bobbie, Sophie, Freddie, Megan and Shauna despite the inclement weather, strung good passes, ran great lines and dominated in attack as well as defence.

Of note
Cerys / Hannah - great scrummaging, competing at the breakdowns with the odd one or two breakaway drives.
Francesca - good control at the lineout and hooking all your own ball, competitive at the breakdown as well and linked well, keeping the ball moving.
Ella/Fiona - also great scrummaging and tackling. Impressive ball placement by Ella for the forwards to win the ball back, great runs and lines by Fiona in open play.
Morgan- strong at the scrummage, great tackling and joining the line to create that extra space.
Erin-great distribution of the ball despite the weather. as well as marshalling the forwards and backs at the breakdowns.
Ceri- great skill set in the side step, dummy and delayed off load running a few tries as well as enabling the rest of the back line time and space to run in the tries.
Alice - scything tackles, fast and hard running with quick off loads
Megan, Sophie, Bobbie, Shauna, Freddie- all ran at speed and great lines, loops from Shauna, great hands from Sophie, Megan, Freddie and Bobbie, kept the opposition on the back foot. Also, your defensive tackling was noteworthy.

Special mentions to Cerys, Fiona, Megan and Francesca who picked up injuries, but continued to play.

Also, a mention for Freddie, whose talents enabled her to play both forwards and backs

Champagne moments from Gwyn..
Sophie collecting a ball off her toes at full speed and then passing on, Awesome
Ella great forward play, presenting the ball in the lose, passing before contact, Awesome
Cerys, clearing out, and some forward runs of note
Ceri, general distribution, except when she can smell the burger van (in joke, ask her about it)
Fiona general awareness to fill in where required.
Alice, leg tackles, quick on feet and challenging for the ball, all please copy.

As called by Phil, player of the Day Alice, for aggressive defence, devastating pace and running lines in attack

At under 18, 3 girls from Beckenham Kate, Sadie, and Amy, joined forces with Aylesford and Medway, in a 3 team rotating fixture. The games were refereed Phil Davies the BRFC ladies coach who was very impressed by the over all standard of play.
