If your son or daughter starts Year 3 in September 2023, then they are very welcome to join us at the friendliest rugby club in South East London! We welcome new players regardless of ability or experience with an offer of a free home training session so parents and prospective players can get a feel for the team and club.

At Beckenham we aim to promote your child's rugby development by creating an environment that encourages fun, games based learning and promotes the core values of rugby (teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship).

This season the players play tag rugby in teams of six.

The coaching staff take care to ensure that all players are involved in the sessions, irrespective of ability and that everyone will get half a game of playing time in each match across the season.

We host and visit a number of local clubs throughout the season before our traditional end of season squad tour around April (extra cost).

Training takes place every Sunday between 09:30 am and 10:45 am during the September – April rugby season. After training, everyone is welcome to join the coaching staff in the clubhouse for a bite to eat and drink.

Please make sure your child brings a water bottle. As the weather cools down, please make sure your child wears a thermal base layer and has an extra top to keep warm. Rugby gloves are fine.
